Brooklyn Beckham was seen smiling with his father-in-law as his own family feud continues after his Father’s Day snub for dad David
Brooklyn Beckham could be hurting his parents yet again with his latest stance. In recent months, the entrepreneur, 27, has distanced himself from his parents, David and Victoria, and his siblings and continues to stay silent on special occasions.
The latest came on Father’s Day – despite David seemingly offering an olive branch with his sweet post about his kids, his eldest son once again snubbed any comment. But while he avoided any interaction with his family, he was seen posing with his father-in-law.
Nicola Peltz celebrated her dad’s birthday with a gushing Instagram post. Among the reel of photos was a snap of her and Brooklyn with her dad as they all smiled. Nicola captioned the upload: “Happy birthday dad! I love celebrating you!
“I feel truly blessed to have grown up watching you be such an incredible role model in every way possible. You’re the best father I could ever dream of.
“You love us all unconditionally, encourage us that our dreams are never too big to chase and to always always be a good human before all else. I love you more than you could ever know! I hope all your wishes come true and this is your best year yet, you deserve everything perfect! I love you sooooooo much!!”
Among those liking the sentimental post was Brooklyn himself. The budding chef had recently also posted a loving tribute of his own on the anniversary of his engagement.
He shared a snap of him and his wife and wrote: “6 years ago I asked my best friend to marry me x You are my girl, my beautiful wife, and my whole heart.
“Every day with you feels like the best adventure, and I still can’t believe I get to do life with you. You make everything brighter, funnier, sweeter, and more magical just by being you.
“I can’t wait to keep laughing, dreaming, and staying young with you forever. I love you more than words, Nicola.”
It’s a stark contrast to his behaviour towards his own family as he continues to remain silent. As rumours of a rift formed last year, Brooklyn stunned the world with his scathing post that told his parents he no longer wanted anything to do with them.
He said at the time they had tried to ruin his wedding to Nicola. In the lengthy post, Brooklyn said: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own façade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
