Gemma Collins has shared new footage from the I’m A Celebrity final – as she gave fans an insight about what happened backstage.
The reality star posted a new vlog of her time getting ready for the now-infamous final, which saw Jimmy Bullard and David Haye get ‘kicked out’ of the final as things turned tense.
Jimmy accused Adam of being “intimidating aggressive and abusive” during their fallout after Rancid Run – and David continued to talk over as Adam tried to give his response.
During a chat to camera, she admitted she was worried ahead of the final. “I’m a bit concerned – and that’s why I’ve brought him. I don’t wanna be across anything but I’ve heard that Jimmy’s gonna kick off tonight. I’m being honest – but what they’ve all got to remember is we had a brilliant time,” she says.
“Where has all this beef come from? Someone’s going to be a winner and tomorrow. Lives move on. I just feel like it’s ruining it all.”
Later in the vlog, David comes to visit Gemma, where she was quick to call him the villain and then says “it’s all pantomime”. However, David was quick to step in and insisted “it’s the real thing”.
During one moment, when Gemma is in the corridor with her stepson Tristan, they all gladly greet him, including Sir Mo Farah, Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt. Later on, she is seen getting ready for the second show when Jimmy Bullard walks through where she is, with neither of them acknowledging one another.
Following the show, Gemma is reflecting on what happened and called both David and Jimmy “divas” for the way they behaved.
In a post following the final, Gemma paid tribute to winner Adam Thomas and said she was “disgusted” by the behaviour of her co-stars David and Jimmy and called it the “biggest disrespect ever”.
“THE WINNER @adamthomas21. What a show up !!! Absolutely disgusted with jimmy and David’s behaviour the biggest show up in tv history !!! What an EMBARRASSMENT ! To all the took part in the show it was a discredit to the production crew cast Ant and Dec biggest disrespect ever !!!” she wrote.“Last night was meant to be a celebration instead it was very upsetting !! X Let’s hope Adam will find some energy to absorb his victory ! X” Gemma later paid tribute to Craig Charles, who she described as “cultural chameleon” and a “national treasure”.
