Hyderabad:The GHMC said it was expediting work on the proposed elevated corridor from Jubilee Hills checkpost to NFCL Junction (Nagarjuna Circle) to ease traffic congestion around KBR Park and facilitate signal-free movement.
GHMC commissioner R.V. Karnan directed officials to speed up road infrastructure upgrades at the KBR Park main entrance, Agarsen Junction and Jubilee Hills checkpost. He also instructed officials to coordinate with the southern discom (TGSPDCL) for shifting utilities in the KBR Park area.
The commissioner directed officials to expedite geotechnical investigations along the stretch from Mugdha junction to NFCL junction.
Foundation excavation and off-site steel fabrication between Jubilee Hills checkpost and Mugdha junction were also to be accelerated.
