Giants’ odds to select Jordan Tyson shooting up ahead of 2026 NFL Draft

Jordan Tyson is well aware that the Giants play in New Jersey, not New York.

Tyson could have an even better idea of the cross-state dynamic for New York and Jersey sports fans by the end of the night if you believe the betting and prediction markets in the lead-up to the NFL Draft.

Tyson’s chances to be drafted by the Giants at prediction market Kalshi are up to 57 percent just hours before the 2026 NFL Draft begins, well ahead of the Saints, the second-most popular choice.

That number has fluctuated as high as 73 percent and as low as 13 percent over the past five days.

Though the recent uptick is notable, considering the massive volume on the market of $80,691.

Tyson to be drafted by the Giants was just 26.9 percent likely on Wednesday afternoon.

The latest betting data also points to Tyson being drafted by the Giants.

He is the co-favorite along with Sonny Styles to be drafted No. 5 and is +325 to be the 10th pick behind favorite Caleb Downs (+325) at BetMGM.

But there’s no guarantee that Tyson will be available after the fifth pick — he is the co-favorite to be the No. 7 pick with Carnell Tate and the favorite to be the No. 8 pick at BetMGM — and the Giants have several players they like in the top 10 as the Post’s Ryan Dunleavy noted Thursday morning.

Tyson is also the favorite to be the first wide receiver drafted at BetMGM, ahead of Carnell Tate who is still the favorite at other sportsbooks. Draft day rumors and movement are common, of course, but Tyson was already one of the darlings of the pre-draft process despite a history of injury issues.

It seems Tyson already has an idea of where he could land.

When asked by reporters on Wednesday if he had an idea where he would be selected, he coyly responded that he had “a gist.”

If prediction and betting markets are right, he should get comfortable with winters in the northeast.
