Leinster have confirmed that Jamison Gibson-Park has been ruled out of the training squad before their opening United Rugby Championship [URC] match against Johannesburg Lions at Ellis Park.
The Ireland international is sidelined due to a minor groin injury after starting two of Ireland’s summer internationals against Australia and New Zealand.

Gibson-Park joins Leinster’s lengthy injury list with Cormac Foley (calf), Jordan Larmour (calf), Diarmuid Mangan (foot) and James Culhane (hamstring) also unavailable for selection.
However, Andrew Porter, Tommy O’Brien and Joey Carbery may be involved on Saturday after they all returned to full training.
Porter missed the summer Tests through a calf injury with O’Brien sidelined due to a groin issue.
Carbery, who re-joined the province from Bordeaux-Begles over the summer, has also increased his training as he aims to return from an anterior cruciate ligament [ACL] injury.
Leo Cullen’s side also added there are no updates on Jack Boyle, RG Snyman, Caelan Doris and Paddy McCarthy.

Connacht without Ireland internationals against Stormers
Meanwhile, Connacht will be without all seven of their Irish internationals for their opening match against Stormers on Friday.
The province confirmed that Bundee Aki, Billy Bohan, Ciaran Frawley, Sam Illo, Sean Jansen, Darragh Murray and Cian Prendergast will return on a “case-by-case basis”.
Will Connors (foot) and Hugh Gavin (leg) will face lengthy spells on the sidelines and are due to return to action later this year.
Harry West (hamstring) and Dylan Tierney-Martin (ankle) are also out for the foreseeable with Dave Heffernan (calf) due to miss Friday’s opener.
