A young girl is fighting for her life after being mauled by a wolf inside an animal enclosure at a German wildlife park on Wednesday morning.
First responders rushed to the Johannismühle Wildlife Park in Baruth, about 28 miles outside Berlin, following emergency calls, according to BILD.
Paramedics treated the 8-year-old on-site for severe head injuries before she was airlifted to a specialist trauma clinic in Marzahn.
Police said the child entered the enclosure accompanied by two other children and a park employee before she was attacked by “at least one wild animal,” the outlet reported.
