Air quality in Delhi-NCR has deteriorated to the ‘severe’ category ahead of Diwali, prompting the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to implement Stage 3 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-3) as a precautionary measure, PTI reported.
The CAQM’s sub-committee decided to enforce GRAP-3 in view of rising pollution levels in the region.
