In a recent interview with US Weekly, Gypsy clarified that she does not want the attention around Ken’s death to turn into a public fight between her and Autumn. According to Gypsy, Autumn never supported their relationship. She mentioned that there has been significant tension between her and Ken’s sister. Gypsy said:
“It is no secret that Autumn did not approve of Ken’s relationship with me, and there has been significant tension between us, including public comments she made about me in the months leading up to his passing.”
In a recent interview with Page Six, Autumn mentioned Gypsy had no right to lie about the details surrounding her brother’s death. TMZ reported that a family member discovered Ken after he failed to respond to Gypsy’s text wishing him a happy 34th birthday. However, Autumn told US Sun that the text was not what initially raised concerns about her brother. She claimed Gypsy had been telling people that they were engaged and planning to have another child, but neither was true.
For those unaware, Ken and Gypsy welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina, in December 2024. In the same interview, Gypsy said that currently her priority is to grieve Ken’s death. She also wants to take care of their daughter, Aurora, and keep Ken’s memory alive. Gypsy added that despite her conflict with Autumn, she is trying to maintain a respectful relationship with the rest of Ken’s family during this difficult time. She said:
“Right now, my priority is grieving Ken, supporting our daughter and honoring his memory.”

Further, in the interview, Gypsy recalled her final phone conversation with Ken Urker days before his untimely demise. She revealed that they spoke over the phone on September 28, 2026. During their conversation, Ken told her that he was deeply distressed about the feud between her and Autumn.
Gypsy claimed that Ken told her that Autumn had repeatedly threatened to make more public comments and criticize them even more. She mentioned that Ken was already dealing with negative comments, public attention, and scrutiny, and this situation was making things harder for him. She clarified that Ken allegedly told her these things.
Gypsy and Ken first met while she was serving time for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee. At the time, Ken sent her a letter of support, and the two began corresponding regularly. Soon, their friendship turned into a romantic relationship. When Ken visited Gypsy in prison, they shared their first kiss. He proposed to Gypsy during a prison visit in October 2018, and she said, ‘Yes’.
After one year, the two split, and Gypsy went on to marry Ryan Scott Anderson. Later, after parting ways with Anderson, Gypsy and Ken reconnected in April 2024. Just a few months after reconnecting, Blanchard announced that she and Urker were expecting their first child together.
