Harbour Tunnel crash brings northbound traffic to standstill

Two vehicles have collided in the Sydney Harbour Tunnel, sparking traffic chaos among cars heading north on Saturday afternoon.

The tunnel is closed northbound following a crash at about 11.40am.

A spokesperson for NSW Police said officers were headed to the scene. The occupants of the cars affected were not seriously injured.

“Expect delays, allow extra travel time, exercise caution,” the transport authority’s advice reads.
