Hyderabad: Team India may have lost the fourth T20 against West Indies at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday night but match host Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has come out a winner, thanks to the green initiatives supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) under its Sports for Nature initiative.
The HCA was also presented the “Stadium Leadership” Certificate of Appreciation by the United Nations Office for Project Services, in recognition of its leadership and valuable contribution in ensuring a safe, seamless and world-class spectator experience at the stadium. The certificate notes that HCA’s support and dedication in operations, coordination and crowd management were instrumental in the success of the event.
