Hyderabad: SFI leader Dilshada Raihan has been elected president of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) Students’ Union in the 2026 elections.
Raihan, who contested as the presidential candidate of the AISA-ASA-DSU-SFI-TSF alliance, secured 221 votes, according to election results reported on Tuesday.
She defeated Naresh Podishetti of the ABVP-SLVD alliance, who secured 197 votes. K. Naveen Kumar was the presidential candidate of the PDSU-MSF-NSUI-Fraternity alliance.
