The Cornell University sexual assault case, which dates back to 2024, has resurfaced after a former student filed a civil lawsuit against the university and seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity. The case has since drawn widespread attention, with several Hollywood celebrities speaking out and calling for accountability.
Now, Heated Rivalry actor Hudson Williams has also spoken out about the case. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Williams shared photographs of the seven men named as defendants in the civil lawsuit and wrote, “Arrest them. F*** them and f*** Cornell too.”

The case stems from an alleged incident at Cornell’s Chi Phi fraternity house in Ithaca, New York, on October 19, 2024. According to a civil lawsuit filed this month by a former Cornell student identified as Jane Doe, she was 20 at the time and had been drinking before going to the fraternity house.
The lawsuit alleges that she was pressured into taking a substance she was told was ketamine and was subsequently sexually assaulted by multiple fraternity members. The complaint further alleges that a message was circulated in a fraternity Snapchat group indicating that a woman was available for sex, after which more men allegedly entered the room.
The seven men named as defendants are Matthew Ingalls, Johnathan Newell, Winston Lee, Gillio Lopes, Diego Sarabia, Scott Norris and Scott Kretzschmar. The lawsuit also names Cornell University, Chi Phi-related organisations and other parties.
Hudson Williams joins actors Florence Pugh and Josh Gad, who have publicly addressed the case in recent days.
Florence Pugh shared a lengthy statement on Instagram in which she described the allegations as “horrific” and called on men to speak out against sexual violence and the culture that enables it. She also questioned the silence surrounding such cases and urged men to be “horrified and sickened” by what was alleged.
Josh Gad also addressed the case on Instagram, specifically criticising the disciplinary measures reportedly imposed on some of the students. He questioned the use of essays and other educational penalties in response to the allegations and called sexual assault a “violent and sick criminal act.”
With the district attorney now reopening the criminal investigation and saying the matter will be presented to a grand jury, the 2024 allegations have returned to the centre of public attention.
