It was the 25th anniversary of Heidi’s famous Halloween party, and she made sure she looked different from everyone else. For the bash, Heidi was dressed up as her own eight-foot giant hand with red nails, blood-stained and chunky rings. A crew of actors came donning yellow hazmat suits and helped her escort her onto the red carpet.
Heidi stepped out as an enormous eight-foot version with a gruesomely severed wrist. She looked unrecognizable, with only her eyes and mouth showing, with blood dripping from her mouth as she stuck her tongue out. The top of her hand had a gory assortment of dangling ligaments and tendons, giving her a scary look overall.
The idea to dress up as her own left hand with long red nails and a thumb ring, with her engagement ring and wedding band came to her last year. She looked at her own hand and thought that she could fit her whole body in this somehow. She said, “I looked at my hand and I thought, ‘Hey, I think I could fit my body in this somehow.”
She showed the costume with a video that showed her actual fingers walking down the floor, and then it transitioned into her costume with her legs. It took her five to six hours to get into the hand costume. Heidi kept showing hints of her bloodied prosthetic face on her social media. Netizens were quick to share their opinion.
One user on Reddit wrote, “I love how she embraces the horror and weird sides of Halloween. I mean, she’s a beautiful supermodel; she could easily take the sexy route, but she chooses to go the complete opposite end. Last year, Heidi was dressed up as a Medusa with moving snakes. And before that, she came dressed as an elaborate female version of E.T., which took her a year of planning. However, her husband Tom Kaulitz was not part of the Halloween celebration this year as he was on a tour. But her costume had details of his name on her ring finger, and she said, ” A little bit of Tom is with me.”
For those who don’t know, Heidi Klum and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, share an age gap of 17 years. While Heidi is 53 years old, her husband, Tom, is 36. She was introduced to him by a mutual friend at a birthday party in Los Angeles in February 2018. The two were attracted to each other on their first encounter.
