Yo Yo Honey Singh is mourning the tragic loss of his nephew, Vidit Auluck, who died in a road accident in Jalandhar. The singer recently travelled to the city to stand by his family during this difficult time. An emotional video from his visit has now surfaced on social media, showing him sharing a heartbreaking moment with his brother-in-law, Dinesh Auluck.
In the video, Honey Singh is seen getting out of his car and walking towards Dinesh. As soon as they come face to face, the two embrace each other in a tight hug. The singer is visibly overcome with emotion and breaks down while hugging his grieving brother-in-law. Dinesh holds him close before accompanying him inside the house. The video has left many social media users emotional.
Honey Singh also paid tribute to his late nephew on Instagram by sharing a throwback photograph from his childhood. The picture features the singer spending time with his nephews. Sharing the memory, he penned a short but emotional note that read, “Rip Puttar.”
Vidit was the son of Dinesh Auluck, who owns the popular Punjabi music label Speed Records. His friend, Aarav Talwar, also lost his life in the same accident. Aarav was the son of the owner of Pappy Sweets.
The tragic incident took place on November 1 on a flyover near the Police Lines area in Jalandhar. According to reports, the Volkswagen car in which Vidit and Aarav were travelling rammed into a tractor-trolley parked on the road. The two friends were reportedly returning home after attending a friend’s birthday celebration when the accident occurred. Both lost their lives in the crash.
