It’s almost time to travel to a “Pastime Paradise.”
Starting Oct. 13, Stevie Wonder will kick off his highly-anticipated Songs In The Key Of Life 50th Anniversary Tour overseas in Great Britain.
After that, the timeless hitmaker is scheduled to pay tribute to his seminal, Grammy-winning 1976 album by playing it in full at arenas all over the UK and North America up until December.
That includes a stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday, Nov. 19.
And, if you want to see the R&B icon live, last-minute tickets are still available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one Songs In The Key Of Life show was $515 including fees on Vivid Seats.

While steep, it really is hard to put a price on seeing one of our greatest living singer-songwriters who delivered “Isn’t She Lovely,” “I Wish,” “As,” “Sir Duke” and, of course, “Pastime Paradise” all on just this chart-topping record (and will play them all live this fall).

More than two decades after “A Time to Love,” Stevie Wonder says a new album is coming in 2027. The title has been circulating for years. “Through the Eyes of Wonder” has surfaced, disappeared, been reshaped, then mentioned again. At some point it stopped feeling like a record and started to feel like a rumor. Now it finally has a horizon.
Part of the pull comes from what might be inside. Early reports suggest unreleased material from the Songs in the Key of Life period, which complicates the idea of a “new” Stevie Wonder album. This isn’t just a late-career statement. It’s potentially a splice between eras, between a creative peak that still defines the genre and a present that has mostly unfolded off record.
After Characters (1987), the releases thinned out. Not a collapse, more a withdrawal. Fewer albums, longer gaps, a shift away from the studio as the primary space of expression. The catalog froze in time while the reputation kept expanding. That’s what makes this different. Not the possibility of another hit, not even the idea of a comeback. Just the fact that he’s choosing to add something new to a body of work that has, for a long time, felt complete.
