Mike Brown followed Kenny Atkinson up the stairs and onto the stage for the Warriors’ 2022 championship parade.
The two sat alongside one another and can be seen on the NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast yapping with one another as the rest of the team was announced for the pre-parade presentation.
Brown and Atkinson were in the trenches together, working grueling hours during the Warriors’ surprising yet fulfilling run to the 2022 NBA Finals, where Stephen Curry & Co. knocked off the Celtics.
But leading up to Tuesday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals (8 p.m. ET, ESPN), Brown’s and Atkinson’s war rooms will be focused on trying to exploit each others’ system and roster.
