Palace have been in mixed form, drawing their most recent game against Everton and winning only two of the last seven in all competitions.

What’s been said?

City boss Pep Guardiola on the possibility of Crystal Palace taking their foot off the gas having already secured safety: “We saw Leeds against Spurs yesterday, how they are now out of the relegation battle, but how they compete. We’ve played here against Aston Villa and West Ham in the past when they had nothing to play for and saw how difficult it was.

“So I‘m pretty sure they will do their best even though they have a final a few days later. They have always been tough games. The quality is there.”

Palace head coach Oliver Glasner on his side’s potentially significant impact on the title race, facing both City and Arsenal before the end of the season: “I’m responsible for Crystal Palace, not for Arsenal and for City.

“This is what we always do. We always think what is best for us. I think this is my and our responsibility, and I think our influence on the title race will definitely be less than VAR.”
