SPRINGFIELD — Trevor Heman cannot be stopped this season.

“Coming into high school, I didn’t even think about that,” Heman said. “I didn’t even know if that would be feasible. It’s awesome to be up there in the record books.”

Heman has also collected 275 career receptions. He ranks No. 3 in Missouri history in career receptions.

Heman is a fearless wide receiver. He’s made catches down the middle of the field utilizing his speed. He uses his agility to make quick cuts and turn short-yardage receptions into big gains.

Heman has also run across the middle of the field, securing catches while being crushed by opposing defenders. He’s a head coach’s best friend. He’s a player that can always be relied upon in the toughest circumstances.

“He’s phenomenal at getting open. He has an incredible catch radius,” Glendale head coach Frank Tristan said. “Every time he is targeted, he’s catching it.”

Heman has increased his catches each season. He caught 48 passes during his freshman season, followed by 52 receptions in his sophomore year. Last season, Heman caught 74 passes and has eclipsed 100 receptions this year.

Heman’s been on a tear, scoring 27 career touchdowns. He’s alongside fellow wide receiver Joelle Rover, who continues to shine in big-play opportunities, too.
