Mohamed Belloumi scored a second-half equaliser as Hull City fought back to secure a 2-2 draw against Everton at the MKM Stadium.
The hosts had taken the lead through Joe Gelhardt, only for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Thierno Barry to turn the game around before Belloumi rescued a point.
Everton enjoyed the better opportunities during the first half and thought they had broken the deadlock when Brennan Johnson found the net following a corner.
However, the goal was ruled out after a VAR review, leaving the two sides level at the interval.
Hull made the breakthrough three minutes into the second half when Gelhardt capitalised on poor Everton defending to put the hosts ahead.
David Moyes’ side responded quickly, with Dewsbury-Hall restoring parity in the 55th minute as the visitors began to take control.
Everton then completed the turnaround in the 68th minute when Barry found the net to continue his impressive start to the Premier League campaign.
However, the Toffees were unable to protect their advantage.
Hull responded just six minutes later, with substitute Belloumi finding space inside the penalty area and finishing from close range to make it 2-2.
Both teams pushed for another goal in the closing stages, but neither could find a winner.
