Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at M.J. Classic Furniture Shop in Asif Nagar on Thursday. The shop is located on the ground floor of a 3-storied residential building in the narrow lanes of the colony, making it difficult for the fire tenders to reach the location. Furniture and mattresses stored inside the shop were gutted in the flames. However, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
Yugandhar Prasad, Asst.Dist.Fire Officer Amberpet informed that on receiving the call, the Fire Team from Niloufer Outpost of Amberpet Fire Station rushed to the spot and began firefighting operations with the help of the Gowliguda Water Bowser and contained the fire.
