Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) said several areas in the city would face a disruption in water supply for 24 hours, beginning Saturday, due to maintenance works.
According to a press release, the maintenance works include cleaning of an old balancing tank at the Asifnagar filter bed from 6 am on Saturday to 6 am on Sunday. During this period, several areas will experience low water pressure or interruptions in supply.
Consumers in the Red Hills, Nampally, Mallepally, Seetarambagh, Ghode ki Khabar, Hindi Nagar, Assembly, Secretariat New MLA Quarters, Adarshnagar, South Central Railway, Gunfoundry, Chintal Basti, Vijayanagar Colony, Old Mallepally, Ahmednagar, Kavadiguda Ward, Gandhinagar Ward, Domalaguda, Banjara Hills ward would be affected due to the maintenance works. Officials asked the consumers in these areas to use water sparingly from Saturday to Sunday.
