Iceland fans are piling praise on steaks that cost less than £4 each, with happy customers hailing them “the best rump steak I have eaten in a long time” and “very tasty”.
The UK retailer has a range of 30-day aged steaks, and its four-pack of 8oz Rump Steaks – priced at £15, or £3.75 per steak – are receiving rave reviews from shoppers. The product has an average rating of 4.5 out of a possible five stars on the Iceland website.
One fan wrote: “The best rump steak I have eaten in a long time. Super, super value for four nice sized steaks. Absolutely delicious. Grilled them and it was melt in mouth. Now on my shopping list always. No actual shrinkage when cooked. Fantastic.”
A second said: “I’ve had the rump steaks from Iceland before, they’re a good price and as good as any I’ve bought elsewhere. Controversially I cook in the air fryer for 9 minutes, rather than frying after buttering and seasoning. Served with coleslaw, potato salad, salad and mushrooms was a quick and tasty dinner.”
A third wrote: “Good price with no fat. Would definitely buy again.” And a fourth said: “Great steaks, ate them medium and they are very tasty. Spit the pack and froze three for another day, great when cooked from defrosted in the fridge over night.”
Iceland’s 4 8oz Rump Steaks are priced at £15 and are available both in-store and online, subject to availability. Each steak has around 393 calories and around 46g of protein.
