Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana visited Vinayaka Park and Senior Citizen Parks and reviewed on-ground conditions.
During the visit, Commissioner interacted with citizens, took feedback, and also reviewed the progress of the 99 days action plan and door-to-door sanitation collection in the area. The crucial directions that were issued during the visit was conducting awareness programmes in parks to promote composting among RWAs apart from identify potholes and take up patchwork on priority.
The Commissioner asked officials to improve parks with open gym equipment and proper walking tracks and streamline sweeping points for better sanitation maintenance besides taking necessary action to manage stray dog issues and ensuring regular fogging and anti-larval measures
Srijana instructed officials to intensify door-to-door inspections, removal of stagnant water, and awareness activities in addition to deploying workforce as per requirement for effective maintenance and inspecting nearby nala and take up cleaning measures
The Commissioner wanted to ensure C and D waste removal and impose penalties for violations, and issue notices for fencing of open plots. Focus on improving service delivery and strengthening on-ground implementation.
