Mumbai Police have ordered actor Imran Khan, nephew of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, to leave India by October 28, News18 reported. The directive follows his participation in the Mumbai protest, calling for Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar to step down.
Officials said proceedings against Khan were begun under the applicable section of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, on the grounds that he took part in the protest although he does not hold Indian citizenship.
