We are only two games into the World cup and I’m slowly realising the more chance it might be coming home, the less chance I have actually got coming home after each game.
I feel like we have been through a roller coaster of emotions already, supporting England is a bit like dating a man who says “trust me”. You know you shouldn’t. But somehow every single time you do.
Take the last two games. Against Croatia, England won 4-2 and I was suddenly googling “can you book a bank holiday for a World Cup final?” The lads were flying.
For one glorious evening the roof of Urban Oasis (fav gaff to watch the game) got completely taken off. Let’s not forget the outfits of the wives and girlfriends.

Then comes the 0-0 game against Ghana. The game finished goalless, which was surprising because by the second half I genuinely thought FIFA might award both teams a point just for turning up.
Having said this, one thing that did remain consistent was the talent in the looks department on the pitch.
The 3rd match takes place tomorrow against Panama, Saturday night in the UK, forecast of 30 degrees and a very high chance of hope.
