Coleen and Wayne Rooney have allowed cameras inside their £20million Cheshire home where they live with their four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass for new series The Real Rooneys
Fans of the Rooneys are about to get an intimate glimpse inside their £20million mansion in Cheshire, thanks to a new Disney+ series. The family allowed cameras into their home for a new documentary called The Real Rooneys, following Coleen, Wayne and their children as they navigate life with mum going back to work and dad staying home.
But, fans need not wait until they can watch the series to get a look at what a former footballer can buy in Cheshire, as Coleen has previously shared sneak peeks online.
In Instagram pictures posted last year, to show off her Christmas decorations, fans could see a grand, white entrance hall. The space had white marble flooring and two large marble staircases leading to a mezzanine level.
In the centre of the room, underneath a chandelier, there was a white round chair where people could sit to put their shoes on. To celebrate the holiday, Coleen and Wayne had put green tinsel around the staircase bannisters.
In another picture of the family, one of their living rooms was visible. This room was more beige, with brown wooden florrs, light brown curtains and cream blinds pulled up to reveal french doors.
It’s rumoured that Rooney shelled out £4million for the plot of land where the mansion stands back in 2017. Officially named High Lake Manor, the property sprawls across 50 acres of former farmland.
The home boasts six bedrooms, a football pitch, an underground tunnel, a wine cellar, a home cinema, a swimming pool, several bars and a trophy room to house all of Wayne’s achievements.
A picture of one of the bars reveals that the Rooneys keep a range of glasses lined up on a shelf over a black countertop. There was an island in the centre of the room, with a matching black worktop, and grey high top chairs around it. Another picture of one of the other rooms reveals a circular bar with gold finishings. In this picture, stemware was kept over head in a rack that was decorated with reflective panels.
The couple relocated to the mansion with their sons, Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass, four years ago. They had been living in a £1.3million mansion in Formby beforehand.
Speaking about the home in the documentary, Coleen said: “This house is everything I’ve dreamed of. As a little girl, you draw a house with a door in the middle and the same on both sides.”
Wayne and Coleen have been married since 2008, having been childhood sweethearts before that. The two met when they were 12 and started dating aged 16.
