Meta is continuing to expand Instagram beyond smartphones, as the tech company has rolled out a dedicated Instagram app for Apple TV.
Users can now watch Reels, long-form creator videos, and live shows on a bigger screen.
This is not Meta’s first attempt to bring Instagram to bigger screens. The company began testing Instagram for TV in December 2025, focusing on Reels, live streams, and other videos.
In June 2026, Meta introduced new features for Instagram on Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs, and Google TV.
MacRumors reported that Apple TV was added to the list of compatible devices in an updated version of the Instagram app on October 23. The app is also listed in India.
The Instagram app will run on current Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models running tvOS 26.0 or later.
