Investigation under way after dead body found in inner-city

Police are investigating after a body was found in the inner-city.

Officers received reports a person had been found unresponsive on Lambert Street in Kangaroo Point just after 11.50am on Friday.

They were declared dead when emergency teams arrived at the scene.

“Investigations into the circumstances around the sudden death remain ongoing,” a statement from police said.
