Apple recently launched the iPhone 18 Pro models and its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, this month. Rumours about next year’s Pro models have already started to emerge.
Apple is reportedly considering skipping the iPhone 19 name for its next flagship model. The device could instead be called the iPhone 20, marking the 20th anniversary of the iPhone.
Although the launch is still a year away, details about the display sizes and design of the iPhone 20 Pro models have surfaced online.
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the iPhone 20 Pro is expected to feature a 6.41-inch display with a resolution of 2686 × 1236 pixels. The iPhone 20 Pro Max, meanwhile, could come with a 6.96-inch display with a 2912 × 1340-pixel resolution.
This would mean that the iPhone 20 Pro models could have larger displays than the existing Pro models. The iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch screen.
The leaker also said Apple is testing a bezel-less, quad-curved display for the iPhone 20 Pro models, along with a smaller display cutout that could further shrink the Dynamic Island.
Other rumours suggest that the iPhone 20 Pro could feature a 2nm chip, as well as under-display Face ID and a camera. However, the launch is still nearly a year away, and more details are likely to emerge before its expected arrival in 2027.
Ahead of the iPhone 20 launch, Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and second-generation iPhone Air in March 2027.
