Dianna Russini resigned from The Athletic and deleted her X account
Within a week of the scandal, Dianna Russini stepped down from her role at The Athletic. In her letter to Executive Editor Steven Ginsberg, Dianna defended herself, stating that she had covered the NFL with professionalism and dedication throughout her career.
