Isack Hadjar summoned to stewards, F1 Monaco GP podium at risk

Isack Hadjar is at risk of losing his Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix podium as he has been summoned to race stewards after a potential race suspension infringement.

The Red Bull driver is potentially falling foul of Article B5.14.4.a of the technical regulations as his team started working on the RB22 during the late red flag in the principality.

But race stewards also noted that when the team was queried, Red Bull mechanics “stopped working and reverted the car to its previous state without replacing any part”.

Regardless, Hadjar is at risk of losing his maiden podium for Red Bull after provisionally finishing third behind Mercedes winner Kimi Antonelli and Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton.

If Hadjar is penalised, it will hand a second podium of the season to McLaren’s Oscar Piastri after an incredibly hectic race that saw a late red flag.

That came after crashes for Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll and Hamilton’s team-mate Charles Leclerc, while the tarmac at the final corner had broken up.
