As a Claudia Winkleman fan and fashion writer, I’ve found a way – inspired by the presenter – to add a chic touch to even the simplest of outfits
With the Celebrity Traitors final taking place tonight (October 30), fashion fans will have one last chance to see what presenter Claudia Winkleman is wearing for this series. Famed for her highland chic looks, fashion lovers often want to steal the presenter’s style – myself included.
Claudia always looks put together with the help of her stylist Sinead Mckeefry, and the Celebrity Traitors star often uses statement chunky accessories to elevate her outfits. When I heard that Claudia had worn the Edge of Ember Charlotte Collins Malachite Statement Ring as reported previously in The Mirror, I couldn’t resist adding it to my autumn wardrobe.
As someone who often opts for neutral outfits, the ring adds a pop of colour to my looks but without stepping firmly outside of my rather beige comfort zone. The Edge of Ember Charlotte Collins Malachite Statement Ring retails for £135 and comes in an 18k Gold Plated design. It’s made from 100% recycled sterling silver and contains Malachite and White Topaz Gemstones.

Also available in a black onyx design, the ring manages to add a modern finish to any look while also remaining timeless, making it the ideal keepsake for fashion lovers this autumn and beyond. The retailer also offers a similar design in the new £145 Charlotte Collins Malachite Cocktail Ring which is available in two colour options.
Much like Claudia, I often adorn my fingers with various rings as I feel jewellery can completely transform jeans and a jumper, adding interest and personality to even the simplest of looks. That being said, it takes a standout piece to push past the competition and make it into my daily rotation, and this ring certainly is one of them.

Alternative rings to shop
Other places I like to shop for rings include Abbott Lyon, and I also own the Mother of Pearl Molten Ring from the retailer. This one costs £59 and features a 14k gold-plated design with a handy water-resistant finish.
For more affordable jewellery I recommend Bohomoon, where I’ve got my eye on the £30 Candice ring which comes in both gold or silver toned designs depending on preference. Back to Edge of Ember and the Charlotte Collins Malachite Statement Ring, and it seems Claudia and I aren’t the jewellery’s only fans.
What do jewellery lovers think?
Boasting mainly five-star reviews from fashion fans, the item would make a great gift or payday treat. I personally would love something like this for Christmas as it can be worn daily but is not necessarily something I’d think to buy for myself.
One person on the Edge of Ember website said: “Stunning. Beautiful deep shade of green.”
A second raved: “Such a beautiful ring, and I love that it’s based on an heirloom. I get compliments when I wear it. Look forward to investing in some of the other pieces from this collection.”
A third commented: “I have loved wearing this ring everyday since getting it. The colour is so striking.”
A fourth felt the design would stand the test of time, writing: “Great service. Lovely rings, timeless pieces.”
My downside as someone with smaller fingers is that I opted for the ring in the smallest available size (J) but still find it ever so slightly loose on my ring finger, something those with the same sized hands may also find.
Despite this, someone else wrote: “I love my new rings from edge of ember, I have received so many compliments already. They came quickly and beautifully packaged.”
A further review reads: “Gorgeous ring! This ring is beautiful had so many compliments already! Quick delivery.”
A final five-star rated comment says: “Amazing and so beautiful. I’m so happy – it’s such a gorgeous piece.”
