Jack Whitehall and bride-to-be Roxy Horner are tying the knot today after six years together. The comedian, 37, and model, 34, who met in Australia, are pulling out all the stops for their big day, which is set to be attended by a whole host of stars, including Jack’s A League of Their Own pals, James Corden and Jamie Redknapp.

Dodgy first date Down Under
Essex-born Roxy, met Jack in Australia and they had their first date there, but it did not go smoothly after the comedian chose a restaurant, which he later realised was decorated with taxidermy ducks.
As a vegan, Roxy was less than impressed but Jack explained he was unaware of her eating habits before the date. On an episode of the Life’s a Beach podcast he described the date as “something out of a sitcom”.
Moved in together during lockdown
Jack explained the romance got off to a strange start because Roxy came to visit him in London from Australia after three dates and they ended up living together in a “house share” because of the COVID-19 lockdowns.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I said: ‘Come back to England and we can hang out.’ She flew over and pretty soon after that we went into lockdown.
“We were suddenly in a sort of house share, with my brother and his partner. It was quite a surreal way to start a relationship.
“It helped that the government said she couldn’t leave my house. It was a good way to guarantee quality time together.”
Jack explained the romance progressed during that time but they went “all the way into this relationship without doing anything normal, meeting the parents, meeting all my friends.”
Becoming parents
In May 2023, Roxy announced on her Instagram that she and Jack were expecting their first child and Elsie was born in September of that year. Jack also shared an update, gushing: “Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
“In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever. So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’ve never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid.”
Christmas engagement
Jack popped the question just before Christmas in 2024. The couple rocked up at Winter Wonderland in London and took lots of selfies of their happy family and in one sweet snap a huge teardrop-shaped sparkler could be seen on Roxy’s left hand.
Sources close to the couple revealed to the Mirror that Jack proposed to the model, adding that they were looking forward to their first Christmas as an engaged couple. The insider said: “They aren’t planning a big announcement but have told friend they have got engaged and are blissfully happy. It’s lovely news in the lead up to Christmas.”
Wedding plans
Roxy was spoilt for choice when she tried on wedding dresses ahead of her big day. The model was papped in a bridal shop, rocking a number of gorgeous frocks before the couple tie the knot on Saturday.
Spotted twirling around in a number of gowns at designer boutique, Galia Lahav in London, Roxy, who has been dating Jack since 2020, looked particularly elegant in a gorgeous ivory strapless silk number. At one point, Roxy appeared to a wipe tear from her face as she had her veil fitted.
Bride-to-be Roxy has been trying on dresses for weeks and gave social media users a peek at some of her favourites before the big day.
Ahead of the nuptials, which will reportedly be attended by Jack’s pals, Jamie Redknapp and James Corden, Jack joked it would be a case of “Downton Abbey meets EastEnders“.
