Jadran Herceg Novi continued its series of convincing wins in the Montenegrin League playoffs.

The reigning champion achieved a 20:9 away victory over Budva in the second game of the final. The third, and maybe the last, game is scheduled for June 2.

Jadran left no chance to Budva, which equalized only at the beginning (1:1), only to see Jadran score four goals in a row and build a 5:1 lead. At halftime, the visitors were already seven goals ahead of Budva (11:4). Early in the fourth period, Jadran reached a double-digit margin (15:5), completely outplaying Budva.

Primorac, the best-placed team in the regular season, was stunned by Budva in the semifinals. However, the Kotor-based team didn’t make a mistake in the third-place playoffs. Primorac beat Buducnost very convincingly in games 2 and 3, both times by 9 goals (20:11 and 23:14), thus qualifying for the Euro Cup Group Stage, while Buducnost will start in the Euro Cup qualifications.
