Jadran Herceg Novi lived up to its status as the favorite in the first game of the Montenegrin League playoff finals, recording a convincing victory, even though it didn’t perform well on defense.

Both teams’ defenses were weak in the first quarter, which saw 15 goals. Jadran took a 4:1 lead after less than three minutes, but Budva managed to cut its deficit and trailed 7:8 at the first break.
