Misse Beqiri has shared a devastating statement following the death of TOWIE star Jake Hall. Misse and Jake welcomed their daughter, River, in November 2017.
The duo shared a turbulent on-off relationship. The had been engaged in May 2018, but soon broke things off. Jake was served with a restraining order in December.
Misse’s representatives shared in a statement to the Mirror: “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss. The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
Jake sadly died following an incident on holiday in Mallorca. He was killed after smashing into a glass door and suffering an injury to his head, according to reports, with the tragic incident happening after the star had been out partying with friends.
Just hours earlier, Jake had taken to Instagram to share a sad message. While uploading happy-looking videos of the trip, including with his daughter, the star wrote: ” Life is b*****ks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”
His upload featured The Rolling Stones’ Beast of Burden tune over the top. Despite the comments being limited, his post has since been met with messages of condolence following the news of his death breaking.
Jake appeared in TOWIE between series 14 and 17 before opting to focus on his fashion brands. Misse, meanwhile, joined The Real Housewives of Cheshire for its third series in 2016.
