Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions could provide the opponent for Katie Taylor’s final career fight at Croke Park in Dublin.

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) staged the last two contests in Taylor’s epic trilogy with Amanda Serrano.

Taylor, an Olympic gold medallist and two-weight undisputed champion, is looking to box once more before retiring and MVP, with the strongest roster in women’s boxing, could have the right opponent for Taylor’s swansong.

Nakisa Bidarian, who co-founded MVP with social media influencer Paul, has volunteered Caroline Dubois’ services for a “last dance” with Taylor. The winner of Holly Holm’s WBA lightweight title fight with Stephanie Han could fit the bill too.

“I could see a scenario where the winner of Holly and Stephanie fights Katie Taylor in her last fight. That’s also very logical to me,” Bidarian told Sky Sports.

Holm is now 44 years old but as well as being a successful boxer is world famous as a UFC champion who defeated Ronda Rousey.

“Stephanie Han is a great story, a mother,” Bidarian noted, “and a full-time police officer. Of course over the past 12 months she’s made more money than she ever thought possible being part of MVP but her background and her story is phenomenal.”

Bidarian wants to work with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, which represents Taylor, to stage the Croke Park event for the superstar of Irish boxing.

“In partnership with Matchroom absolutely. I don’t want to ever overstep that relationship because they’ve worked together her entire career and I think to Katie’s credit she’s always been loyal to them, whether she’s in contract with them or not, and we want to respect that. It’s only bigger if we do it together,” Bidarian said.

“If Eddie and I sat down together and came up with a plan for that Croke Park fight, we want to do it together.”

Hearn has ruled out Taylor boxing on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, which has also been mooted for Croke Park.

“If [Fury vs Joshua] takes place in November, it won’t be outdoors in Dublin and so therefore we just want to move forward with Katie Taylor,” Hearn told Press Association.

“With all due respect, I don’t think it’s the place to do this [Fury-AJ] fight, either. Also, absolutely over my dead body is Katie Taylor going on an undercard at Croke Park.

“We’ll find out more on Friday. We’re ready to go and are up for doing it. Not necessarily with a finalised opponent, but in terms of the costs and the running of the show.

“Croke Park want to do it, but when they said: ‘Fury v AJ would give Katie the opportunity to fight there’, I [thought don’t] get the blood boiling.”
