Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts did not attend teammate A.J. Brown’s wedding this past weekend at Montage Laguna Beach in California, TMZ reported.

It’s uncertain if he received an invite for the lavish ceremony Saturday, but the pair have been teammates for the last four seasons and have close ties.

Hurts is the godfather to Brown’s daughter Jersee, and the two have known each other since their college years when the signal caller suited up for Alabama and Brown starred for Ole Miss.

Brown married Kelsey Riley over the weekend in an outdoor ceremony in what appeared to be a high-class event at the five-star hotel and resort.

TMZ further reported that zero Eagles teammates attended the wedding and it’s also unclear if any received invitations, although former teammate Darius Slay made the trek.

This wedding happened while Brown’s future with the Eagles appears quite uncertain.

Brown is rumored to potentially be on the move come June 1, when contracts become more movable via free agency or trades.

The Patriots reportedly are set to acquire the three-time Pro Bowler, with compensation expected to include a 2028 first-round pick and perhaps more.

Those trade rumors have been fueled by Brown’s unhappiness with his role in Philadelphia, despite winning the Super Bowl title in 2025.

Brown has been cryptic over the last two seasons, reading self-help books on the sidelines and calling the state affairs in Philadelphia a “s–t show” during the regular season while he was on a Twitch stream.

He expressed frustration at times with not being targeted during games.

“It’s not just solely about my situation,” Brown said in November. “Obviously, I want to win, too. I think if we’re really focusing on winning and doing our job, we can’t just keep slapping the Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense that we’re so great, you know? That’s what I’m getting at.”

Brown even refused to apologize for the comments, saying, “If you have eyes,” you could see why he would be frustrated and that he was pushing for the offense to improve.

The Eagles ended the season with an 11-6 record and won the NFC East, but lost to the 49ers in the first round of the playoffs.
