She questioned Christina’s emotional response and suggested that Christina has made her experience with MS a “cottage industry.” Calling out the actress, Megyn said:
“She’s crying now because I guess she no longer gets to be the face of this disease, and as she says, she’s back to ‘square one.’ She’s made like a cottage industry of talking about her MS.”
Janice called out Megyn’s comments as “heartless” and “disgusting.” She also argued that people living with the disease already face a significant physical and emotional challenge. Janice also said that multiple sclerosis remains widely misunderstood, which has also affected her life and career. Meanwhile, she praised other celebrities who speak about their illness in public. Janice feels that the willingness of such celebrities to be vulnerable helps others feel less alone.
In the same interview, Janice also addressed the history of her relationship with Megyn. She described her as someone who had once been one of her closest friends. However, their friendship reportedly deteriorated after many years. Janice also suggested her issues with Megyn are still unresolved. She claimed that Megyn has become increasingly negative and does not have any close friends who can challenge her behavior.
The dispute increased when former Fox News personality Eric Bolling defended Megyn on X. He called out Janice for publicly attacking someone who had previously supported her career. Eric also called her comments “Fucking disgraceful.” Next, Janice replied by questioning Eric’s record and referred to his 2017 departure from Fox News over an investigation into claims about him sending inappropriate text messages to colleagues. In turn, he denied it.
