Jelly Roll’s daughter has warned that the internet will “crumble” if she reveals the truth about her dad’s divorce. The musician, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa, in May, after over a decade of marriage.
When he filed the paperwork with Williamson County, Tennessee, Jason cited “irreconcilable differences”. He and Alisa are said to have reached a settlement to bring their marriage to an end.
Bailee Ann DeFord, 18, took to TikTok to warn fans against making assumptions about what happened between the couple. She fumed: “Don’t y’all ever come for my father’s name like that again. I’m so done.
“Get the f**k out of my DMs, out of my comments, my life with that s**t. I don’t care. I don’t want to talk about it. Y’all have no f**king idea what happened, and wait ’till y’all find out. Just f*****g wait.
“Because I promise y’all, the view of what y’all have of not only the situation, but their relationship and the internet in totality is about to f**king crumble the day that I open my mouth. It’s not a difference in f**king opinions. Nobody else lived in it, so don’t f**king even. I’m for real so done.”
This came after Bailee already shared how “disgusted” she was by the rumours about her father’s divorce and pushed fans to respect their privacy. She posted her words to TikTok, where she said: “I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It’s fkn crazy. Go on somewhere y’all. Worry ’bout your house – not mine.”
She ended her post by teasing that she might talk about her father’s divorce at some point, but not right now. “I’m not speaking on it – yet,” she wrote.
Jason shares his daughter with ex Felicia Beckwith, but he shares custody of her with Alisa. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Jason and Alicia agreed to keep the details of their divorce confidential. The publication also said the two had divided their assets and included a provision in their settlement that stopped either of them from publicly criticising the other.
Prior to their divorce, Alisa, 45, and Jason, 40, were undergoing IVF treatment. Just three days after their divorce was announced, she said on her Dumb Blonde podcast that they were still planning to conceive a child.
“We’re literally settling our divorce in like… We’ve done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks? We’re still having a baby together,” she said. “So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”
Alisa added that they planned to “co-parent” together and that country singer Jason was still her “best friend”. She finished: “This isn’t what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other.”
