Jesy Nelson wasted no time enjoying her downtime after reportedly withdrawing from I’m A Celebrity, which is set to return to television screens next month
Jesy Nelson jetted off to Paris after pulling out of I’m A Celebrity. The former Little Mix singer was due to jet Down Under in the coming weeks to take part in the upcoming series.
However, just weeks before the ITV show returns to screens, Jesy, 35, has decided to pull out to focus on her twin daughters, who were born with SMA.
But the singer is making the most of her free time and traded the gruesome Bushtucker Trials, often involving food such as a kangaroo anus, for the bright lights of Paris, with her boyfriend, Ben Davies.

The singer was pictured with the landscape gardener as they posed for a selfie together on their romantic getaway. Another image showed the couple relaxing in the back of a chauffeur-driven van as they explored the French capital.
Jesy and Ben publicly announced their relationship last month, when she took to Instagram to share their first picture together before heading to the National Television Awards. “Forgot to mention,” she wrote alongside a picture of the pair at their swanky London hotel.
The star previously appeared to confirm her relationship with Ben, who once dated The Only Way Is Essex’s Lydia Bright, after she was spotted walking hand-in-hand with him through London’s West End in August.
Jesy was due to jet out of the UK and head to Australia in the coming weeks after becoming a huge signing for I’m A Celeb, but the songstress has made the decision to stay at home with her twin daughters, Ocean and Story, who sadly, are unlikely to ever walk.
A source said: “Jesy was so excited about joining I’m A Celebrity, mainly because it was giving her a platform to continue her campaigning for SMA. She has already helped change Government policy over testing newborns for the condition.
“I’m A Celeb was going to be where she could spread her message even further, and show a side to her the public may not have seen before. It’s with a very heavy heart that she has pulled out.”
However, the source went on to claim that bosses behind the ITV show will always consider Jesy for the line-up. They added that Story and Ocean remain unwell and Jesy’s family will always remain her priority.
“ITV have been amazing and is supporting her all the way; the door will always be open for Jesy,” the source added. In September, bosses were said to be hopeful that Jesy would be signing her contract in a matter of weeks and were “thrilled” that they had got this far, although the outlet now claims that the singer told bosses last month that she could not commit to the series.
Other names who are rumoured to be joining the show include Wayne Rooney, ex-Strictly star Nadiya Bychkova, Ricky Wilson and cricket star Ben Stokes.
