Jim Carrey has tied the knot with his partner Min Ah months after they made their public appearance debut and the actor called her his ‘sublime companion’
Jim Carrey has said Alrighty Then and tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Min Ah. The duo exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Los Angeles.
The pair, who have remained largely out of the pubic eye, made their red carpet debut in February at the César Awards in Paris. The actor gave has partner a sweet shout out at the time, calling her his “sublime companion”. He gushed: “I love you, Min Ah.”
The occasion was the first time the pair had publicly acknowledged their relationship, despite having been together since 2022. They attended the French event earlier this year with The Mask star’s daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, 39, and her teenage son Jackson.

Jim, 64, had previously admitted to his dream of a quiet life. Speaking to Access Hollywood in 2022, he said: ““I really like my quiet life, and I really love putting paint on canvas, and I really love my spiritual life, and I feel like — and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough.”
Jim’s latest vows mark the third time he has been married. The actor was previously married to his Dumb and Dumber costar Lauren Holly from 1996 until 1997.
The relationship didn’t last and “irreconcilable differences” were cited for their divorce.
Before that, he tied the knot with Melissa Womer, whom he shares daughter Jane with. They were together from 1987 to 1995.
He has previously been linked with a number of high profile relationships. He dated Bridget Jones star Renee Zellweger, 57.
Mad Men actress January Jones, 48, was linked with him too and was also in a relationship with former Playboy model Jenny McCarthy, 53, for five years until 2010.
He also enjoyed a three year on-and-off relationship with make-up artist and celebrity stylist Cathriona White, who died by suicide at the age of 30 on September 28, 2015.
In Paris earlier this year, fans had questions Jim’s current appearance. Within moments of his appearance, fans were quick to question if he had had any cosmetic procedures. Some bluntly asked if he had gone under the knife following his fresh new look.
On Twitter/X, one user claimed: “‘Must have had a lot of work done to his face. Looks very different.” Another added: “‘Is he wearing a mask? Look at his neck,” while a third joked: “‘I’m no conspiracy theorist, but that’s not Jim Carrey.”
