The TV star has finally revealed the truth behind reports that he has found love again, just weeks after it emerged that he had abruptly halted plans to marry for the sixth time.
Jim Davidson has addressed finding love again, weeks after calling off his sixth marriage. The 72-year-old was set to marry his now ex-fiancée, Natasha, 49, at Hampton Court Palace.
It’s reported that the venue was picked as a nod to Jim’s previous failed marriages, given the royal palace’s links to King Henry VIII. However, he lost the £10,000 deposit by calling off his engagement. At the time, Jim said there was “no bad blood” between him and Natasha, who he described as the most “caring and dutiful” person.
Now, the TV star has revealed what actually happened and claimed the pair had secretly split months before the news became public knowledge, as he looks towards the future with his new love interest.

Jim has found love again with Simon Cowell’s ex-partner and Bob’s Your Uncle co-host, Maria Rice-Mundy, 60. He believes that Maria is “too good to be true”, and while he often has women swooning over him, Maria has “something special about her.”
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jim says that while he was still processing his break-up, he’s happy to date again. He told the publication: “Maria’s not a new lady. I’ve known her for years. In fact, I gatecrashed her wedding 30 years ago. She is too good to be true.”
Jim went on to explain that while he and Natasha were together for three years, they had a “great 18 months” during that time. He added: “I’ll be honest, I am not short of ladies who want to date me but Maria has something special about her. She makes me feel like I’m not as useless as I’ve been made out to be.”
Still, there’s no bad blood between Jim and Natasha, and he insists that if she’s “ever in the s**t,” she can pick up the phone and he’ll be happy to help her. However, getting over their split is taking time, but he’s enjoyed a string of dinner dates with Maria.
A source has confirmed Jim and Maria have been dating for weeks, and it seems he is already smitten. Things are moving fast, and a friend of the star says he has already been flaunting his new relationship on his personal social media pages.
“Jim’s already fallen big time and posted a picture of her on Facebook,” the source previously told MailOnline. “They’ve been on a few dinner dates and she’s very giggly around him. Jim doesn’t mess about when it comes to the ladies.”
Jim and Natasha struck up a relationship in 2024, after he and his fifth wife, Michelle Cotton, split up in 2023 after 14 years together. Prior to Michelle, he was married to Tracy Hilton for ten years before divorcing in 2000.
He’d also been married to Alison Holloway for a year before they divorced in 1988. Prior to Alison, Jim married Julie Gullick, and their marriage lasted just five years before they divorced in 1986. His first marriage, to Sue Walpole, lasted just a year before they divorced in 1972.
The telly star has five children from his previous relationships, and believes he’s lost a staggering “£50 – £60million” on divorces over the years.
