I’m A Celeb: Adam confronts Jimmy after he backs out of trial

Jimmy Bullard has broken his silence on the I’m A Celebrity row between him and Adam Thomas.

The former footballer has seemingly confirmed he will attend the live final this Friday after reports suggested he didn’t want to attend the event, which will see all the campmates reunite.

Writing on Instagram, alongside a clip of Sinitta claiming the C-word was shouted, he shared: “Wow thanks @thesinittaofficial shame that wasn’t shown! My version will be told Friday! Can’t wait to see you all….well some of yous!!”

Sinitta explained: “There was a big argument, I can hear c-word, c-word, shouting c-word, you c-word. What on earth is going on? And I’m also thinking – can we get on with the race because I’m winning? I’m literally frozen in position like ready to carry on from where we’ve left off, but no. And it’s this massive fight and, of course, it was one of these things that if whoever lost the game, the team were off the show so Adam and Jimmy are going and I suddenly think, wait a minute this isn’t fair.”

During last night’s episode, Jimmy and Adam clashed over a trial gone wrong. Hours after Beverley Callard left the camp on medical advice, the remaining eight stars were due to take part in Rancid Run.

After pairing up, Ant and Dec told how the camp duos had to get cogs out from an abacus then hand them to their partners to run and put them on a box. The last pair to finish would be evicted.

Jimmy picked Adam but things soon went awry when Jimmy didn’t even start and pulled out of the game. He told his partner: “Sorry Ad, so sorry. I’m a celebrity get me out of here,” and Adam replied: “Are you joking me bro? Jim c’mon man.”

Host Ant then added: “You gotta think of Adam here, in the cage. He doesn’t want to go. He’s enjoying himself.” But Jimmy just apologised again, leaving his fellow campmates in shock.

Stunned Adam, realising this meant he was set to be leaving the show said: “Jim don’t do this bro. Come on. Is that how we are going out?” Anger growing he added: “You f***ing taking the piss? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants.”

Jimmy replied: “Calm down, that is pathetic.” But Adam then said: “P***k. I have done all that for him…if you wanted to go, f***ing go. Don’t take me with you. What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f***ing mud and you said get me out of here.” Jimmy insisted he was “not feeling it” and wanted to go home.

But Adam added: “Go home in camp then. Don’t go home on my f**king watch. I am not a quitter. I don’t quit. Don’t do the show then bro.” Jimmy replied: “I choose when I come and when I go.” The row continued to escalate.

Jimmy left the show and Adam was allowed to say after hosts Ant and Dec conferred with the remaining six campmates. Adam later addressed the row, saying on social media that he was worried how it would be perceived.

He said: “For months, I didn’t know how any of this would be perceived. Even though I stood by every decision I made, there was always that little voice wondering how it would be shown, how it would be edited, how people would see me.

“And that uncertainty wasn’t easy to carry. But now, reading your messages, seeing your comments, feeling your support, it’s given me something I can’t even put into words. It’s brought me peace. It’s reminded me that staying true to myself was always enough.”

He finished his message by sharing: “I was never in it to win. I just refused to let them win by breaking me… Nothing but love.”
