Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) vice-chancellor T. Kishen Kumar Reddy has been appointed chairman of the South Central Regional Committee of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for a period of 3 years.
The appointment was notified on April 20 by AICTE member secretary Shyama Rath as part of the reconstitution of chairmen of regional committees.
Reddy brings prior experience within AICTE, having served as adviser for research and institutional development at its New Delhi office. He has also held vice-vhancellor positions at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University, Gunupur, Odisha. The role places him at the helm of overseeing technical education matters across the South Central region under AICTE’s regulatory framework.
