Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash put on a united front as they continue shut down speculation of problems in their marriage as they headed for Britain’s Got Talent this weekend

Joe Swash said he is Stacey Solomon’s ‘proud husband’ as he put further distance between speculation all is not well at Pickle Cottage. The pair put on a united front against divorce whispers with an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent with rumours rife that their long relationship is going through a difficult time.

It comes weeks after Stacey had informed fans that she is not married to Joe after choosing not to make their union legally binding after a party in their garden. The star had been seen without her wedding band a number of times in recent months, but Stacey insisted this was not because she and Joe are on the rocks hinting she simply forgets to where it sometimes. There was no sign of any problems this weekend as Joe took their children Rex, six, and Rose, four, to support their mum.

Stacey appeared during the ITV talent show as she joined her golden buzzer act for their big performance, after she had appeared on the show as a guest judge during the auditions. Looking happy as Ant and Dec came to see her at her seat, she was clearly wearing her wedding ring for the appearance as she spoke to the hosts.

The kids were given behind-the-scenes treatment at as they got to sit at the judging panel seats before getting to test out the golden buzzer.

Joe gushed over his wife as he shared some snaps, writing on Instagram: “I never take for granted the chance to share moments like this with my family. “The kids excitement means everything. Proud husband @staceysolomon you smashed it. Thank you for having us BGT”.

In a strongly-worded Instagram post, Stacy insisted she had not misled fans and had made it clear she and former soap actor Joe weren’t married.

She said: “I said we were not getting legally married and having a religious blessing and ceremony at home in front of our friends and family – and we’ll get legally married at a later point.”

It came after a number of other celebs hit the headlines for holding ceremonies but not getting legally hitched – including fellow Loose Women star Olivia Attwood.

Stacey met her husband Joe while filming ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010. The began their relationship in 2016 and later tied the knot in 2022.

It was confirmed last week, despite claims their popular show had been cancelled, that their fly-on-the-wall show Stacey & Joe had been renewed for a third series. The BBC cameras returned to Pickle Cottage for more family drama.

As in the previous two series’, this latest offerings will give viewers an insight into the pair’s hectic work and family lives. While the family remain together, it’s said Joe is attempting to make his dream come true of building a fishing lake and glamping site on the grounds of their £1.2m Tudor-style Essex home.
