Joe Swash’s company is now worth nearly £457,000 according to Companies House filings, a major turnaround after being declared bankrupt twice…
Joe Swash appears to be enjoying a financial turnaround after years of money troubles, with new figures revealing his company is now worth more than £450,000.
The former EastEnders star, 44, has seen the value of his firm Big H and Little R Ltd climb to £456,776, according to its latest accounts filed with Companies House.
The business, believed to be named after his sons Harry and Rex, handles income from Joe’s television work, media appearances and commercial deals. The figures suggest a significant boost for the presenter, who was declared bankrupt twice during his career. However, his reported wealth remains considerably smaller than his wife Stacey Solomon’s.

Stacey, 37, has built a substantial fortune through her television career and brand partnerships. Accounts for her company, Keymap Entertainment Ltd, showed it was worth £10.1million in 2025, up from £7.4million the previous year.
Her business reportedly holds £7.5million in investments and £1.6million in cash, underlining the difference between the couple’s respective financial positions.
The latest figures come as Joe and Stacey look towards a fresh chapter in their lives, with their new home representing a new beginning for the family.
Joe has also made behind-the-scenes changes in a bid to advance his career. Earlier this year, he left celebrity management agency YMU and signed with Off Limits Group, which he hopes will help him explore new opportunities.
Speaking about the move to Deadline in March, Joe said: “Off Limits has already built something really impressive. It’s a young, ambitious and growing team that is bringing fresh ideas and a new perspective, and that spoke to me.”
Off Limits, founded in 2017 by former TOWIE star Chris Drake, Jim Erwood and Rossella Castellana, also represents personalities including Chris Hughes, Jesy Nelson and Tasha Ghouri.
Joe’s departure from YMU came after reports that Stacey had also left the agency. His career move followed claims that his efforts to generate extra income had caused tension at home, although the details of those reports have not been independently established.
Despite his current business success, Joe’s finances have not always been straightforward. He became a household name playing Mickey Miller in EastEnders in 2003, but his character was written out of the BBC soap in 2008. The same year, he won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, boosting his profile and winning over viewers.
However, his success in the jungle did not prevent financial difficulties. Joe was declared bankrupt after falling behind on tax payments and was made bankrupt for a second time in 2013 over further unpaid bills to HMRC. Reflecting on his past mistakes in 2017, he admitted he had been irresponsible with money after finding fame.
“I got into EastEnders and was irresponsible with money,” he said. “I was chucking it away on stuff I didn’t need. I went out every night and had a house with a mortgage.” He added: “When you are young, you just don’t think it is ever going to end. I thought I was going to be on EastEnders for years and years.”
Now, with his company reporting substantial reserves and a new management team in place, Joe appears to be taking steps towards a more secure future — as he and Stacey settle into their next chapter as a family.
