Former Cincinnati Reds great Joey Votto shared his opinion about National Baseball Hall of Famer and Reds analyst Barry Larkin‘s rant that followed a 9-1 loss in the team’s series finale against the Chicago Cubs, their final game of the season at Great American Ball Park.
Barry Larkin slammed the Reds as ‘so, so far behind’ playoff contenders
“I think these last three weeks of baseball playing against some of the better teams that are going to be going to the postseason really illustrate how far we are behind at this big-league level,” Larkin said during the broadcast. “Change has to happen. This city deserves better than that, and I know every player down there feels that. But something has to give. We have to get better because we are so, so far behind.”
