The England football team are currently in the US for the 2026 Fifa World Cup, desperate to end 60 years of hurt and bring the trophy back home. The players took to Dallas Stadium on June 18 for their opening fixture against Croatia, with the Three Lions coming out on top in a thrilling 4-2 victory. Alongside the squad, a number of their wives and girlfriends have also made the journey across the Atlantic to cheer them on – among them England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford‘s wife Megan.
The British lifestyle influencer, who hails from Sunderland, is Pickford’s childhood sweetheart. The pair began dating as teenagers (when she was 14 and he was 16) and have stood by each other throughout his remarkable journey from the Sunderland football academy to Premier League stardom.
Megan, 30, took to her Instagram page to show her 143,000 followers that she was there at the stadium cheering on her husband. Yet despite fans gushing that she looked “gorgeous”, she revealed she’d suffered an unfortunate wardrobe disaster.
The stunner, dressed in a simple white T-shirt, jeans and a cowboy hat, wrote: “No suitcase mishap was going to stop me supporting my husband. Featuring the top I travelled in and borrowed jeans.”
Megan then took to her Instagram story to shed further light on the situation, appearing in her seven-year-old son Arlo’s England shirt. She captioned the snap: “Arrived in America… my suitcase did not.
“Can I wear my 7-year-old’s shirt for the game tonight or not?” Despite the wardrobe mishap, fans still reckoned Megan looked stunning, as one exclaimed: “Gorgeous my girl.”
Another added: “Only you could look like this in those circumstances.”
While a third chimed in: “Beyond fabulous!”
A fourth agreed: “Wow, gorgeous girl.”
Megan and Jordan tied the knot at a registry office in 2020 before throwing a lavish, official wedding ceremony in the Maldives in June 2022.
They share three children – Arlo and two daughters named Ostara Haze, 2, and Misty Celine, 1.
Megan is known to occasionally collaborate with fashion and lifestyle brands and offers glimpses into her family life on her Instagram account.
She’s among England’s prominent “WAGs” (wives and girlfriends), and is frequently spotted in the stands cheering on her husband during major international fixtures and tournaments.
The family reside in Cheshire’s prestigious “Golden Triangle”, an affluent area hugely popular with Premier League footballers and their families.
In 2025, they snapped up a historic £5.7 million Georgian-style country estate. Built in 1860, the impressive property sits on 2.5 acres of land.
The grand manor house has a distinguished history and notably hosted Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and King Charles III in the past.
The property features a grand entrance hall, curved staircases, a neoclassical portico, eight bedrooms, and an ornate indoor swimming pool. The couple previously resided in a contemporary, ultra-modern £2.1 million property close by, which they swapped for this more classic, charm-laden estate.
