In a recent interview, Josh Kloss revealed his reaction to a moment when Katy allegedly pulled down his pants at a birthday party in 2012.

Josh Kloss opened up on other details related to the 2012 incident while speaking to Page Six on April 24, 2026 (ET). He said that it is difficult to start a conversation about a topic since most people probably won’t care about it. Josh stated that at one point, he realised that he needed to show up and explain everything, specifically after Ruby Rose made the sexual assault allegations against Katy Perry.
Josh told Page Six that he and Katy Perry formed a close bond when they were filming the music video in 2010. He recalled that he attended a birthday party of Katy’s longtime costume designer and stylist, Johnny Wujek, in California, with a friend in 2010. The party was organised at the Moonlight Rollerway skating rink, and Katy met Josh outside the place. Notably, Kloss was introducing his friend when Katy allegedly pulled down his pants. Josh claimed that Katy started laughing at that moment. Kloss further stated:
“That’s the main thing here. I want to clear that. I want to get rid of the confusion because some people believe that if you pull someone’s pants down at a party, you’re pranking them.”

During his latest conversation with Page Six, Josh Kloss said that while the alleged incident could have made him feel humiliated, his relationship with Katy Perry was normal. Josh stated that he was confused about everything that happened since he believed that he was attracted to Katy Perry during that period. However, Josh said that he later discovered that the feelings emerged after the alleged incident.

Josh said that he initially believed that Katy possibly addressed the incident with an apology. Addressing the reasons behind opening up about the incident, Kloss said that he was told by a lot of people about being lucky since a popular singer provided him a big platform. Josh stated that this changed his mind. However, he even clarified that he never intended to target Katy and was aiming to protect his sanity. Josh explained by saying:
“She, who I should be grateful for, devalued and degraded me to the highest level in front of her closest peers. Why would I be grateful for that?”
Back in 2019, Josh Kloss claimed in his Instagram post that Katy Perry was his crush when the incident happened. Josh mentioned at that time that he felt embarrassed. Apart from that, he even made other allegations, including that he was “lorded over” by Perry’s representative for not saying anything about the artist anywhere.
